Abstract:
Provided are: a resin composition which is excellent in terms of stability during melt molding and appearance property; and an extrusion-molded article, an injection-molded article, and a blow-molded article all formed from the resin composition. The resin composition of the present invention comprises an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer as a main component, and is characterized in that the heterogeneous nucleation index (f), which is determined using the following equation (1) from a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) curve obtained by DSC when the resin composition is cooled from a 210°C molten state at a cooling rate of 150 °C/sec, is less than 0.6. In equation (1), Qtotal is the area of a region surrounded by the DSC curve and the base line, and Qhetero is the area of the portion of said region which ranges from a temperature lower by 38°C than the melting point to a temperature lower by 75ºC than the melting point. f=Qhetero/Qtotal (1)
