Abstract:
To provide a resin composition for manufacturing a phenolic foam, said resin composition enabling the profitable production of a phenolic foam that exerts an excellent heat insulation performance over a medium-to-long term from immediately after the production and, moreover, exhibits a highly excellent compression strength.　A resin composition for manufacturing a phenolic foam is prepared by using 1-chloro-2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, which is a foaming agent, as an essential component together with a resol-type phenolic resin and an acid curing agent.
