Abstract:
A resin composition for secondary coating of an optical fiber, the resin composition containing a hydroxyl-group-containing urethane compound having a number-average molecular weight of 10,000-40,000 (inclusive), a photopolymerizable compound, and a photopolymerization initiator. The hydroxyl-group-containing urethane compound content is 0.05-10 parts by mass (inclusive) based on a total of 100 parts by mass of the resin composition, and the hydroxyl-group-containing urethane compound is a reaction product of a diisocyanate and a polyol having a number-average molecular weight of 1800-4500 (inclusive).
