Abstract:

This transmission device 1 has: a transmission power supply 12 which outputs, from input power, electric power in accordance with the resonance frequency of a transmission antenna; multiple switches 14 which are respectively disposed for each transmission antenna 13 and can be switched so as to connect or disconnect a power feed line through which the electric power output by the transmission power supply 12 is supplied to the transmission antenna 13; a parameter detection part (an input detection part 122, a power supply parameter detection part 123, an output detection part 124) which, by utilizing a protection function of the transmission power supply 12, detects parameters related to the transmission power supply 12 which change as a reception antenna 21 approaches the transmission antenna 13; and a switch control part 125 which estimates the position of the reception antenna 21 from the result of detection by the parameter detection part and performs switching control for the switches 14 according to the position of the reception antenna 21.
