Abstract:
The invention relates to a cartridge that can accommodate multiple number of blades. The razor and the cartridge can be reused by just replacing the blades instead of throwing them of after single use. There are three different types of models that are submitted. The first model has multiple blades that can be removed and reused in the multiple blade razor. Each blade can be removed and reused. The number blades can be increased or reused depending upon the need in this model. The second and third model is of the safety razor, the number of blades can be increased depending upon once preference. The separator has to be used accordingly. The width of the blade decreases as it goes up along with it the separator.

Claims:
CLAIMS:

1. A shaving cartridge capable of accommodating multiple number of blades, depending upon the need of the user, wherein the blades can be removed and added depending upon the need of the user, wherein the shaving cartridge comprise of a guard and a shaving blade; wherein, on the top of the cartridge there is a lid that can be opened from the bottom, that hold the blade in the positions; wherein, two side pillars with cuts helps the blade to side through; wherein, the cuts have length depending upon the edges of the blade from 2mm to 3mm; wherein, the cuts in the pillar is tilled from 10 degrees to 45 degrees from the front of pillars so that when the blades are inserted into them, it is placed on the top of each other and provides elevation; wherein, the blades have a gap of 2 mm each.

2. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lid that has shape, and the width of the sides of the lid varies from 2 mm to 4 mm depending upon the width of the pillar.

3. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shape of the lid helps the blades to hold in position and the cartridge can be reused again and again.

4. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shaving cartridge may be represented by model 2 and model 3 those are capable of accommodating multiple blades and separators.

5. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 4, wherein the safety razor has first blade that of common width and the blades that goes on top of each other 1mm to 2 mm less.

6. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 4, wherein the regular blade is of width 2.2 cm and the second blade that goes on the top is 2 cm.

7. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 4, wherein the third blade is 1.8 cm.

8. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 4, wherein the blades width can be reduced depending upon the need, claim is the blades size reduces as it goes up.

9. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 4, wherein the separator goes in-between each blade to give spacing and light elevation between blades.

10. The shaving cartridge as claimed in claim 4, wherein the separators width is lesser than that of the last blade that is being inserted.

Description:
REUSEABLE CARTRIDGE WITH REMOVABLE BLADES

FIELD OF INVENTION:

The following invention relates to field shaving razor and reusable cartridges BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION: Majority of shaving razor has disposable cartridges that are disposed after using few times. The multiple blade cartridge that are in the market has disposable cartridges. Whereas the shaving razor that contains the reusable blade can accommodate only one blade. These cartridges are designed so that multiple blades can be used. These cartridges are designed such that the blades can be removed and reused and the razor can last a life time. Which would reduce the pollution. The safety razor has only one blade by adding few components multiple blades can he used.

OBJECTS OF INVENTION:

At present the shaving cartridge that has multiple blades are made of plastic. After use of the blades the entire cartridge is discarded, which leads to pollution. The reusable blades cartridge can have only one blade. Therefore these cartridges are designed so that multiple blades can be used to give a closer shave and also leave less carbon foot print. The material to make the following design can be of metal, plastic or whichever material required.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION: The invention has three different types of cartridge that can be used in three different types of razors. Multiple number of blades can be used in the cartridge in this design. The razor and the cartridge can be reused by, just replacing the blades in the following designs. MODEL 1: The blades are placed in the slots as shown in the figures 1 to 10. The blade holders are designed in an angle so that blades can be placed in it. The angle is around 45 degrees. The blade slots that is shown in the figures is 3 or more, it can be increased to accommodate multiple number of blades depending upon the need of the cartridge. The cartridge blades are kept in its place by the help of the lid.

The lid is placed in the top of the cartridge. And can be opened from the bottom. Screw hold the lid in its place. The lid is locked at the bottom.

The two sides/pillars of the cartridge around 3mm so that the blades edge fits the sides. At the base of the cartridge there are lines so that it can hold the blade in its place.

MODEL 2:

Traditional in safety razor model, only one blade can be inserted. But here, it has been modified so that more than one blade can be used. In the description, for our better understanding, we have taken 3 blades, 2 separators. The base is attached to the handle. The first thing that goes is the larger blade. It’s the regular blade size. On the top of that goes the first separator. The width of the separator is 1.7 cm. On the top of the separator goes the second blade which is lesser by 1 mm to 2 mm then the first blade. On top of the second bladed, second spacer or separator is paced which is also 1.7 cm. The third blade is placed on the top of the Second separator. The third blade is 1 to 2 mm smaller than the second blade. On the top goes the top goes screw top. The screw top width is lesser than the third blade by 1mm to 2 mm. The first blade width is 2.2 cm. The second blade is width 2 cm and the third blade are 1.8 cm. The two separator is 1.7 cm. The blades can be increased and the separator width has to be reduced accordingly, as shown here. The width of the separator is few mm less than that of the last blade.

MODEL 3: In this model where the safety razor opens at the top only one blade is used traditionally. In my model more than one blade can be used. In this description for our better understanding, we have taken 3 blades, 2 separators. The base is attached to the handle. The first thing that goes is the larger blade. It’s the regular blade size. On the top of that goes the first separator. The size of the separator is 1.8 cm. On the top of the separator goes the second blade which is lesser by 1 mm to 2 mm then the first blade. On top of the second bladed, second spacer or separator is paced. Which is also 1.8 cm. The third blade is placed on the top of the Second separator. The third blade is 1 to 2 mm smaller than the second blade. On the top goes the top goes screw top. The screw top width is lesser than the third blade by 1mm to 2 mm. The first blade width is 2.2 cm. The second blade is width 2.1 cm and the third blade are 2 cm. The two separator is 1.8 cm. The width of the separator is few mm less than that of the last blade if number of blades are increased or decreased.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:

These models of the blades have removable blades and reuse of the blades in the same cartridge. Where as in previous models only one blade can be inserted. Here, there more than one blade can be inserted. The following pictures shows the models and the specific parts of each model.

MODEL 1:

Figurel shows the front view of the razor, that has 5 blades. The razor has front and rear. The front end contains two sides that measures few mm of solid plastic or metal, that acts us the pillars of the cartridge and can hold the edges of the blade. Each side edges have cuts in them so that edge of the blades can slide in them. And hold the blades in the firm position, this is shown on figure2. The same can be done with multiple number of blades. The cuts in the pillar is of 2mm or more depending on the edges of the blades. The full blade is broken into two and are inserted into the cuts that are on both sides of the pillars. The hallow on the base of the cartridge is the same as that of the blade. In the drawings, I have taken 4 blades as an example. The cuts in the pillars helps the blades to hold the blades in the firm position. The cutting in the pillar is almost vertical, just tilling around 10 to 45 degrees from the vertical line. The blades are slides into the cuts, can be added and removed, whenever required. After sliding the blades into the positions.

The blades are held in the place with the help of a lid, like shown on figure3. The lid is designed the shape of ‘| | '. The figure 4a and 4b shows the hole razor and the shape of the lid. Figure 4a shows the front of the razor with lid open. The figure 4b shows the shape of the lid ‘| |'. This shape is designed such that it covers the pillars

(which has the cuts) and the bottom of the cartridge. The lid can be opened from the bottom of the cartridge base. The lid has smooth top so that we can experience a clean smooth shave. Figure 5 shows how the first blade is inserted. Figure 6, shows side view of the razor with the cuts. Figure 7 shows the dissected view of the razor after the blades are inserted. Figure 9, shows how lid is screwed in the top of the cartridge. Figure 10, shows how the lid is closed with the base.

MODEL 2:

In this model the blades are used as whole. I have taken 3 blades example as shown in the figure 11. This model is based on the tradition model of safety razor, where the whole blade is placed inside the cartridge. For my example I have taken 3 blades. It can be increased to multiple number of blades. For a closer shave 5 blades can be used. In the traditional method the blade is placed in between the base and the top. Since my model has 3 blades, the blades sizes changes. The first blades size is the same as any regular blades and other blades that goes on the top width is reduced, so that provides effect of multiple blade cartridges. The regular width of the blade is 2.2 cm. The second blade that goes on the top is 2cm. the third blade that goes on the top is 1.8 cm. This can be done for multiple number of blades, figure 12 shows the same. In addition to this, there are separators that goes in between the blades. Since, I have used only 3 blades we need only 2 separators. The separators width can be 1.7 mm. The first blade that has the width of 2.2cm goes in the base of the cartridge. On the top of that goes the first separator. Then we insert the second blade that is of 2 cm. Then, insert the second separator. Finally, we insert the third blade that is of 1.8 cm. The blades, are held in the position with the help of the top. Since, the blades are smaller from one another it gives the effect of the multiple blades in single cartridge.

MODEL 3:

In this model, the cap opens in the side. In this model the blades are used as whole. I have taken 3 blades example. This model is based on the tradition model where the whole blade is placed inside the cartridge. In the traditional model the base and the top are screwed to hold the blades. For my example I have taken 3 blades, this is shown in figure 13. It can be increased to multiple number of blades. But the for a comfortable shave 5 blades can be maximum used for a comfortable shave. In the traditional method the blade is placed in between the base and the top. Since my model has 3 blades. The blades sizes changes. The first blades size is the same as any regular blades and other blades that goes on the top width is reduced it provides effect of multiple blade cartridges. The figure 12 shows the sample sizes and the separator. The regular width of the cartridge is 2.2 cm. The second blade that goes on the top is 2cm. the third blade that goes on the top is 1.8 cm. This can be done for multiple number of blades. In addition to this there are separators that goes in between the blades. Since, I have used only 3 blades we need only 2 separators. The separators width can be 1.7 mm. The first blade that has the width of 2.2cm goes in the base of the cartridge. On the top of that goes the first separator. Then we insert the second blade that is of 2 cm. Then, insert the second separator. Finally, we insert the third blade that is of 1.8 cm. The blades, are held in the position with the help of the top. Since, the top opens in the side, the gap between the base and the top has to be adjusted so that 3 blades edges can come out. The tops width has to be reduced accordingly. The blades are smaller from one another it gives the effect of the multiple blades in single cartridge. BREIF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS:

In this figure there is the base and the lid. This is lid helps to hold the blades in the position. The curved lid helps the lock the lid in the base of the cartridge. 1) Base of the cartridge.
