Abstract:
A reverse mechanism provided with: a case; drive wheels to which power from a power source is transmitted via a transmission; a reverse gear, which is rotationally coupled to the input shaft of the transmission; a dedicated reverse shaft, which is rotationally coupled to the drive wheels, supports the reverse gear to allow relative rotation in forward gears of the transmission, and is fixed with the reverse gear by a reverse-executing mechanism in the reverse gear of the transmission; and a friction damper, which is interposed between the reverse gear and the case and imparts backlash-eliminating torque to the reverse gear.
