Abstract:
The present invention relates to a revolving trash drying apparatus capable of operating a motor to directly rotate a drying chamber in order to discharge food waste which has been agitated, pulverized, and dried, wherein the apparatus comprises: the drying chamber capable of revolving within a fixed main body portion; a screw which rotates within the drying chamber to agitate and pulverize trash fed into the drying chamber; and a driving unit connected to the screw shaft at the outside of the main body portion and provided with the motor which rotates the screw forward and in reverse. A moving unit screw-coupled to the screw shaft is restricted to rotate between the inner surface of the main body portion and the outer surface of the drying chamber, and moves forward or backward along the screw thread of the screw shaft when the screw is rotated forward or in reverse. A power connecting portion relays the rotating force of the screw shaft to the drying drum while the moving unit is pressed against the outer surface of the drying drum, and integrally revolves the drying drum with the screw shaft forward and in reverse. According to the revolving trash drying apparatus of the present invention, excellent useful effects can be obtained, including greatly reduced manufacturing costs by means of a compact structure, commercialization aided by a lower price, and cost effective processing of trash. In addition, stable trash processing can be achieved without malfunctions so that the productivity of trash processing can be greatly improved to great effect.
