Abstract:
Provided is a robot for construction work capable of simultaneously setting a support leg and making an adjustment to the height of the support leg. This construction work robot 10 is to be used for mounting to a base body, at a prescribed height H, a member S having an adjustable height, and is provided with: a manipulator 12; an end effector 14 disposed at a leading end of the manipulator 12; a recognition means 16 for recognizing the respective positions of the member S and the base body F; and a measurement means 18 for measuring the positional relation between the member S and the base body F. The end effector 14 is equipped with: a holding means 26 for releasably holding the member S; and a height adjustment means 28 for adjusting the height H of the member S by moving the member S being in contact with the base body F to move toward or away from the base body F. The construction work robot 10 makes an adjustment to the height H on the basis of the height of the support leg that is recognized by a rotary laser level photoreceiver 36 (recognition mechanism) which is a part of the height adjustment means 28.
