Abstract:
A robot according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with an outer skin 314 which is put on a main body 310. The outer skin 314 includes: an engagement portion 524 which engages with the main body 310 as a result of being put on the main body 310; extension portions 528, 530 which extend from the engagement portion 524; and attachment members 540, 542 which comprise a hard material, and which are attached to the extension portions 528, 530 so as to extend in the width direction. The outer skin is fixed to the main body 310 by fixing the attachment members 540, 542 to the main body.
