Abstract:
This robot system performs character information input operations described in a paper document by operating a character input device, which is positioned in a prescribed position, has multiple operating units for inputting text information input commands, and sends the inputted text information input commands to an information processing device. The robot system is provided with: a robot having an operator unit which can operate the operating units of the character input device and a robot arm unit which moves the held operator unit; an imaging device; an imaging device control unit which images a paper document; a character string determination unit which determines a character string to be inputted on the paper document included in the imaging data; a control device which includes an operating unit position determination unit which determines the positions of the operating units corresponding to the characters determined by the character string determination unit, and a robot control unit which, on the basis of the positions of the operating units corresponding to the characters determined by the operating unit position determination unit, controls the robot arm unit such that the operator unit held by the robot arm unit operates the operating units determined by the character string determination unit in the order of the characters and moves.
