Abstract:
A robot toy and a drive device for the toy, the robot toy wherein a part of a body forms an operation part, a shape is changed by operating the operation part, and different actions are performed across the change of the shape, whereby an interesting robot highly changing in shape and action can be realized; the drive device for the toy wherein one toy component is disposed on the link of a quadric link opposed to a frame, the other toy component is disposed on one of opposed swing links, the one swing link is extended to the opposite side of the frame, the tip of the swing link is rotatably and swingably engaged with a rotary disk at an eccentric position, the both toy components are rotated by rotating the rotary disk before or after the shape is changed, and the open/close operations of both toy components are performed each other.
