Abstract:
The present invention relates to an insulating device (1) comprising at least three foil sheets (101a, 101b, 101c) arranged parallel to one another, wherein each pair of neighbouring foil sheets (101a, 101b, 101c) defines a gap (103a, 103b), and comprising spacer elements (105) arranged in the gaps (103a, 103b) between the foil sheets (101a, 101b, 101c), the spacer elements being linearly oriented in a first direction (Y). The invention is characterised in that the spacer elements (105) are permanently connected to two neighbouring foil sheets (101), wherein the spacer elements (105) in a first gap (103a) are offset parallel to the spacer elements (105) in a second gap (103b) by a measurement (M). The present invention also relates to the use of the insulating device (1) to insulate buildings constructed and occupied in the short-term or medium-term, as packaging material for shock-sensitive items, in a mat, and in an insulating unit (3) for regulating heat transfer coefficients (U).
