Abstract:
A rolling load predicting device according to the present invention is a rolling load predicting device for predicting a rolling load of a rolling mill that rolls a steel material, and is provided with a means for predicting the rolling load of the rolling mill when a steel material is rolled under operating conditions to be subjected to prediction, by inputting the operating conditions to be subjected to prediction into a rolling load predicting model that has been taught using operation result data including factors relating to the temperature of the steel material, at least, as input variables, and actual values of the rolling load of the rolling mill as an output variable.
