Abstract:
A rolling mill roll replacement system according to the present invention comprises: a transfer unit including a transfer frame and a transfer cart moving along the transfer frame; a clamping unit installed at the transfer cart and including a clamping jaw holding a roll and an angular actuator for rotating the clamping jaw; a storage rack on which a roll is stably placed; a shift unit installed on the storage rack and transferring a roll between the clamping unit and the storage rack; and a control unit for controlling operations of the clamping unit, the transfer unit, and the shift unit.
