Abstract:
This rotary compressor according to an embodiment has a shaft, a motor part, a compression mechanism part, a muffler member, and a case. The muffler member forms a muffler chamber between the muffler member and a bearing section of the compression mechanism part. A rotor of the motor part has a large-inner-diameter section and a compressed gas flow passage. The large-inner-diameter section is formed, around the shaft, in an end surface on a second side. The compressed gas flow passage passes through the rotor from the bottom surface of the large-inner-diameter section to an end surface on a first side. The outer circumferential surface of the bearing section that forms a discharge port of the muffler chamber is disposed further to the outside in a radial direction than the inner circumferential surface of the large-inner-diameter section.
