Abstract:
An end housing portion (41) of this rotating electric machine (100) is partitioned by a partition plate (7) into a first space (k1) on the side where a cooling cooler (6) is present and a second space (k2) on the side where a coil end portion (32e) is present. The partition plate (7) is provided with a shield plate (8) having an intake (7ah) that opens in the circumferential direction at an outside end in the radial direction, connected to the further inner side of the partition plate (7) than the intake (7ah) in the radial direction, disposed along a frame (4) in the circumferential direction, and comprising a magnetically good conductive metal plate. A ventilation path D that is in communication with the intake (7ah) is formed between the shield plate (8) and the frame (4).
