Abstract:
A rotating tool (1) is provided with a tool body (5) comprising a grinding tool (2) and a shank (3), and a flange part (4) provided to the tool body (5). The grinding tool (2) is provided with a plurality of linear abrasive materials (6), and an abrasive material holder (7) for holding the linear abrasive materials (6). The flange part (4) is an annular member (8), and is attached to the abrasive material holder (7) so as to be able to move in the direction of an axis line (L) and rotate about the axis line (L). When the inner peripheral surface of a hole (H) formed in a workpiece (W) is machined, the abrasive material holder (7) and the annular member (8) are inserted into the hole (H). When the front side of the rotating tool (1) oscillates, the annular member (8) comes into contact with the peripheral wall surface of the hole (H), and the oscillation of the tool body (5) is suppressed.
