Abstract:
This rotation transmission device has rollers (7a, 7b) incorporated in between the inner periphery of an outer race (6) and the outer periphery of an inner race (5), an armature (31) supported so as to move in an axial direction due to current conducted by an electromagnet (30), and a ball ramp mechanism (33) that converts the axial movement of the armature (31) to movement of a roller retainer (8) from an engaging position to a disengaging position, wherein an aluminum annular-plate cover member (42), O-ring (55), and oil seal (57) are provided.
