Abstract:
This rotor is provided in a compressor. The rotor has a ring-shaped rotor core centered on the axis. A first permanent magnet constituting a first magnetic pole is positioned on the rotor core. On the rotor core, a second permanent magnet constituting a second magnetic pole is positioned adjacent to the first permanent magnet in the circumferential direction centered on the axis line. Balance weights are attached to the axial-direction ends of the rotor core. The residual magnetic flux density of the second permanent magnet is lower than the residual magnetic flux density of the first permanent magnet. At least a portion of the first magnetic pole is positioned facing the balance weights in the axial direction.
