Abstract:
The present invention provides a technique for reducing a d-axis inductance in a rotor. A rotor 20 according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: permanent magnets 22, 23 housed in different magnet slots formed each other in a rotor core 21 and disposed magnetically in series; and a flux barrier (hollow portion 24) provided for each of the permanent magnets 22, 23 disposed magnetically in series, in the vicinity of an end portion in a direction orthogonal to the direction of a main magnetic flux. The hollow portion 24 is then provided in such a form that the flux barriers corresponding to the respective permanent magnets 22, 23 disposed magnetically in series are in communication with each other. A motor 1 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with the above rotor 20.
