Title:
ROTOR WITH SHROUD STORABLE INTO AND EXTENDABLE FROM OUTSIDE OF BOTTOM PLATE AND AIRCRAFT HAVING THE ROTOR WITH SHROUD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/010682
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide rotors with shrouds storable into a bottom plate so that, when aircraft lands on the ground and stops the rotors with the shrouds, the footprint on the space thereof can be minimized by storing them, when the rotors are extended from the bottom plate, they are brought into such a state that can develop a lift or a propulsion force and the aircraft can be recovered to a flyable state. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Since the rotors with the shrouds can be stored in the bottom plate, the footprint on the space of the body of the aircraft is reduced under landing. When the rotor is extracted from the bottom plate and extended, the rotating faces of the rotors are easily vertically positioned relative to the body of the aircraft to generate the lift and the propulsion force. As a result, the aircraft in which the rotors with the shrouds are mounted on its body can be easily operated.
