Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rubber composition that obtains excellent low heat generation properties while maintaining good steering stability when the rubber composition is applied to a tire. To achieve the purpose, the rubber composition comprises: a rubber component containing a copolymer having a conjugated diene unit and an aromatic vinyl unit; and a filler, the rubber composition being characterized in that the copolymer is a modified copolymer in which the content of the aromatic vinyl unit is less than 10 mass%, and which is modified with a modifier containing a compound represented by formula (1).
