Abstract:
This saddle riding-type vehicle (11) is provided with, inside a casing (38): a silencer (33) that partitions a plurality of partitioned chambers that cause pressure drop in an exhaust gas discharged from an engine (27); an exhaust pipe (32) having a conduit (32a) connected to an exhaust port of an engine (27) at an upstream end and open in a space inside the silencer (33) at a downstream side, and an outer pipe (32b) that accommodates at least a portion of the conduit (32a) and is coupled to the casing (38) at the downstream end; and a catalyst (51) that is assembled to the conduit (32a) below the engine (27) and inside the outer pipe (32b), and purifies the exhaust gas, wherein a space outside the conduit (32a) and inside the outer pipe (32b) is connected to any of the partitioned chambers (41, 43, 44). Accordingly, provided is a saddle riding-type vehicle that is capable of contributing to an increase in the volume of the partitioned chambers while suppressing the protruding of the silencer as much as possible.
