Abstract:
Provided is a saddle-type vehicle internal combustion engine in which an air cleaner (54) is disposed between a main frame (14) and a cylinder head (25) of an engine main body (21) a cylinder axis (C) of which is inclined forward and which is disposed below the main frame (14) that is inclined rearward and downward from a head pipe (13) and that extends rearward; and in which a fuel injection valve (63) is attached to the front side of an air-intake passage forming member (57) that forms a portion of an air-intake passage (61) which connects the air cleaner and an air-intake port (36) of the cylinder head, wherein an attached part (65a) disposed on an upper part of the air cleaner (54) is fastened to the main frame (14) using a fastening member (74) which has an axis extending in the vehicle width direction, and the fuel injection valve (63) is disposed farther out than a virtual rotation trajectory (CT1) which is drawn about the axis of the fastening member (74) by a lowest part (54aa) which is the portion of the bottom edge part (54a) of the air cleaner (54) at which the fuel injection valve (63) is set in the vehicle width direction.
