Abstract:
Provided is a saddled vehicle configured so that: an intake air amount regulation device will be protected from muddy water, etc. splashed by a front wheel; and engine cooling effect can be obtained. A saddled vehicle is provided with: an air cleaner (20) disposed behind a front wheel (WF); an engine (30) disposed behind the air cleaner (20) and having a cylinder (32) protruding from a crankcase (31) toward the front and toward a point below the air cleaner (20); and an intake air amount regulation device (40) mounted to an air intake pipe (33) which supplies intake air from the air cleaner (20) to the engine (30) and regulating, in response to operation by a driver, the amount of intake air to be delivered to the engine (30). An extension section (50) extending further toward the rear of the vehicle body than the air cleaner (20) extends toward a point below the intake air amount regulation device (40) and between the intake air amount regulation device (40) and the upper surface (32u) of the cylinder, and the extension section (50) is disposed in the space (S1) between the upper surface (32u) of the cylinder and the air cleaner (20) at a predetermined distance (C1) from the upper surface (32u) of the cylinder.
