Abstract:
Disclosed is an electric vehicle charging socket (2). Two electrodes (5, 6) of the charging socket are disconnected from two poles of a battery (1) when the charging socket (2) is not used for charging, so as to prevent people from receiving an electric shock caused by touching the electrodes (5, 6) of the charging socket. The charging socket comprises a base body (4), a positive electrode (5) and a negative electrode (6) extend out of a side face, namely, an electrode face (7), of the base body (4). The charging socket further comprises a microswitch (8) arranged on the base body (4). The microswitch (8) comprises a shell, a push rod (81) which is arranged on the shell and can be pressed, and two normally open pins (82, 83), wherein one pin (82) of the two pins (82, 83) is electrically connected to the positive electrode (5), the other pin (83) is used for being electrically connected to the positive electrode of the battery (1); when the push rod (81) is pressed down, the two pins (82, 83) are closed, and when the microswitch (8) is in a normal state, the push rod (81) thereof protrudes out of the electrode face (7); and when a charging plug (3) is inserted into the safe-type electric vehicle charging socket (2), the positive electrode (5) and the negative electrode (6) respectively extend into a positive electrode hole (31) and a negative electrode hole (32) in the charging plug (3), and meanwhile, the charging plug (3) pushes the push rod (81), such that the push rod (81) is flush with the electrode face (7), and the two pins (82, 83) of the microswitch (8) are closed.
