Abstract:
This safety control device (2) performs a safety control by receiving a safety input signal from an external safety input apparatus (50) through a safety dedicated bus (8) and transmitting a safety output signal to an apparatus to be controlled, and comprises an electronic component (6) which transmits safety control data including the safety input signal and the safety output signal, to a general control device (4) connected through a CPU bus (9) and performing controls other than the safety control, and which has an input unit (6a) to which an electric signal is input and an output unit (6b) to which the electric signal is output, wherein the electronic component (6) temporarily converts the safety control data into light or magnetism, and then into an electric signal, and transmits the electric signal to the general control device (4) through the CPU bus (9) via the output unit (6b), thereby blocking the reception of the control data from the general control device (4).
