Abstract:
Provided are a safety protection method and apparatus for a robot, and a robot, which relate to the technical field of robots and artificial intelligence. The method comprises: acquiring operation data of an electric motor; if it is detected, according to the operation data, that the electric motor satisfies an overload triggering condition, executing an overload safety processing policy corresponding to the electric motor; when it is determined, according to the operation data, that the electric motor satisfies a collision detection condition, performing collision detection on the electric motor, wherein the collision detection condition is determined according to the overload triggering condition; and if it is detected that a collision occurs with the electric motor, executing a collision safety processing policy corresponding to the electric motor. The technical solution provided by the present application can be applied to consumer robots, such as a household robot used for accompanying and teaching children or accompanying elderly people, and robots, such as an industrial robot, a commercial robot and a specialized robot, and same can improve the safety protection capability of the applied robots.
