Abstract:
The present invention relates to a safety system which prevents fingers from being caught between an automatic door and a door frame and stops the operation of the automatic door when the automatic door is hindered due to an obstacle. The safety system prevents accidents when a door (D1), sliding from a distance (d) from a door frame (10) and formed from a transparent or translucent board-shaped material, opens or closes by sliding with respect to a pillar (20) on which a pressing switch for opening the door (D1) is installed. The safety system for an automatic door comprises: a first switch means (S1) installed along the leading edge part of the door (D1); and a second switch means (S2) installed on the front end part of the door frame (10) so as to cover the distance (d) between the surface of the door (D1) and the front end part of the door frame (10).
