Abstract:
A sand-control protection device for an engine air inlet, exhaust and nozzle. Two supporting slide rods (5) are fixed to two sides of the aircraft engine respectively by means of a fixing mechanism, then an inlet port cover (12) is slotted onto the supporting slide rods by means of sliding holes I (16). By sliding along the supporting slide rods, the inlet port cover is clamped to the forward end of the aircraft engine inlet, thereby effectively preventing sand and dust from entering the aircraft engine from the front end. The inlet port cover is locked and fixed relative to the supporting slide rods by means of a locking mechanism I. Then, an exhaust protection cover (17) is slotted onto the supporting slide rods by means of sliding holes II (24). The exhaust protection cover is set on the rear end of the aircraft engine by sliding along the supporting slide rods, and the bottom end of a hanger (2) slots into a V-shaped groove (25), thereby effectively preventing sand and dust from entering the aircraft engine from the rear. An exhaust fan (20) extracts and exhausts hot air from the nozzle area of the aircraft engine by means of an air duct hole, thereby effectively preventing fires caused by engine overheating due to the port cover protection.
