Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sanitary electric insect trap which safely and hygienically captures and kills harmful insects. Provided according to an embodiment of the present invention is a sanitary electric insect trap comprising: a housing including a receiving space formed therein and an opening formed through a front surface thereof to open the receiving space to the outside; a front cover coupled to the front surface of the housing to cover the opening; and an electric shock plate which is installed in the housing while facing the front cover and through which a high-voltage current flows selectively, wherein the front cover includes: a plurality of frames crossing to each other to form a plurality of through holes; and a plurality of elastic films which are arranged at a rear surface of the front cover to respectively cover the plurality of through holes, are coupled to the frames at one side thereof to bend toward an inside of the housing due to air flow introduced from the outside to the receiving space and thus to open the through holes, and are arranged to overlap the frames at at least a part thereof other than the one side.
