Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a sanitary facility member with which stains such as accumulated water scale can be removed with little force and a small number of wiping repetitions, and is a "member comprising a substrate and a surface layer on the substrate, wherein: the surface of said member has a concave-convex structure characterized in that the root mean square height (Sq) defined by JIS B 0681-2 (2018) is 0.03-1 μm, the skewness (Ssk) of a contour curved surface is -1 to 5, and the autocorrelation length (Sal) is 10-65 μm; the surface layer is water-repellent; and in a profile obtained by XPS depth direction analysis, a point, in which the absolute value of the difference between the carbon atom concentration at one measurement point and the carbon atom concentration at a measurement point immediately before the measurement point is at most 1.0 at%, is defined as the end point of the surface layer, and the sputtering time from the start of sputtering to the end point is within 5 minutes.
