Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a member for which the outer appearance (color tone) of a colored layer can be maintained and with which a water-repellent function from a water-repellent layer can be obtained. [Solution] A member provided with a substrate, a colored layer, an interlayer, and a surface layer, wherein: the colored layer, in a profile obtained by XPS depth direction analysis, contains over 35 up to 99 at% C, 0 to less than 40 at% CR, 0 to less than 15 at% N, and over 0 to less than 15 at% O; the interlayer contains at least one species of metal atom selected from Cr, Zr, and Si, as well as oxygen atoms; the metal element in an oxidized state is also detected; the sputtering time, from a point in time where the metal element has been detected until a point in time where the detected amount of oxygen element is greater than the detected amount of oxygen element (O) included in the colored layer, is 0.5 to 9 minutes; the surface layer is water-repellent and contains a hydrophobic group; and in a profile obtained in XPS depth direction analysis, the sputtering time from the start of sputtering until a point in time where the metal atoms contained in the interlayer begin to be detected is over 0.5 up to 5 minutes.
