Abstract:

A satellite visibility assignment device (1) comprises a visibility unit setting section (21), a visibility unit selection section (22), and an optimal calculation unit (23). The visibility unit setting section (21) sets a visibility unit, which includes a combination of a satellite and a station that can communicate with the satellite, a lower limit value of a visibility start time, and an upper limit value of a visibility end time. The visibility unit selection section (22) sets one or more combinations of visibility units. The optimal calculation unit (23) determines whether or not the visibility start time and the visibility end time can be set within a range that satisfies a constraint set for each combination of visibility units, and if the times can be set within the range, calculates the visibility start time and the visibility end time through an optimization calculation. Based on a result of the determination by the optimal calculation unit (23) as to whether or not the visibility start time and the visibility end time can be set, and the visibility start time and the visibility end time set in the case where it is determined that the times can be set, the visibility unit selection section (22) selects a combination of visibility units to be used from among the combinations of visibility units.
