Abstract:
Provided are a scrap determination system capable of improving a scrap determination technology, and a scrap determination method. A scrap determination system (1) comprises: a first scrap determination model (221) for determining the grades of scraps contained in a camera image and the ratio of the different grades on the basis of the camera image, the first scrap determination model being generated using teaching data containing a first learned image; a second scrap determination model (222) for determining the grades of scraps contained in a camera image and the ratio of the different grades on the basis of the camera image, the second scrap determination model being generated using teaching data containing a second learned image; a selection model (223) for determining whether to use the first scrap determination model (221) or the second scrap determination model (222) on the basis of a camera image; and an output unit (24) for outputting information pertaining to the grades of scraps and the ratio of the different scraps determined on the basis of said camera image by using a model selected by the selection model (223).
