Abstract:
Provided are: a scroll compressor wherein a tip seal is eliminated and wherein scrolls do not interfere with each other during operation; and a method for manufacturing the scroll compressor. In this scroll compressor 10, a stationary scroll 20 has a stationary scroll base plate 21, and also has a stationary scroll wall body 22 spirally upwardly raised from the upper surface of the stationary scroll base plate 21. Further, a movable scroll 30 has a movable scroll base plate 31, and also has a movable scroll wall body 32 spirally upwardly raised from the upper surface of the movable scroll base plate 31. The angle range of a first movable scroll wall body section 33 of the movable body 30 is formed greater than the angle range of a first stationary scroll wall body section 23 of the stationary scroll 20.
