Abstract:
Provided is a scroll compressor with which the back pressure of the movable scroll can be maintained suitably at all times, regardless of the operating condition, and in particular, a scroll compressor with which a state of insufficient back pressure of the movable scroll can be eliminated automatically. This scroll compressor is equipped with: a high-pressure fluid supply flow path, which is bored into a discharge casing, and which supplies, from a discharge chamber to a back-pressure chamber (Pm), a high-pressure fluid acted upon by the discharge pressure of an operating fluid; a high-pressure fluid flow path (7d), which is bored into an intermediate casing, and which supplies the high-pressure fluid to the back-pressure chamber; a medium-pressure fluid flow path (7m), which is bored into the intermediate casing, and which supplies to the back-pressure chamber a medium-pressure fluid obtained by reducing the pressure of the high-pressure fluid; and a member (20), which is displaced in response to axial displacement of a thrust plate (9) in conjunction with axial displacement of the movable scroll (3), thereby switching between allowing and cutting off the flow of the high-pressure fluid from the high-pressure fluid flow path to the back-pressure chamber.
