Abstract:
A scroll compressor capable of quickly guiding lubricating oil that has accumulated in an oil sump 80 when the compressor stopped, to an outer circumferential section of an orbiting scroll end plate 12a by centrifugal force simultaneously occurring at startup, as a result of: providing, in the orbiting scroll end plate 12a, a first oil introduction hole 51 formed inside a boss section 12c, a first oil outlet hole 52 formed in the outer periphery of a lap-side end surface, and a first end plate oil communication passage 53 that connects the first oil introduction hole 51 and the first oil outlet hole 52; forming the oil sump 80 on the upper surface of an eccentric shaft 13a; and arranging the oil sump 80 between the rotating shaft core D of the rotating shaft 13 and the first oil introduction hole 51.
