Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a scroll fluid machine (1) which can operate stably because appropriate pressing force is ensured without increasing the area of the rear surface of a movable scroll (7). The scroll fluid machine (1) comprises an expansion section (2) for expanding operating fluid to cause a movable scroll (7) to orbit, thereby recovering power, and a low-stage-side compression section (3) for compressing the operating fluid by the power recovered by the expansion section, and high-pressure operating fluid compressed by a high-stage-side compressor is sucked into the expansion section (2). Operating fluid, the pressure of which is maintained at the discharge pressure of the compression section, is supplied to a back-pressure chamber (52) formed on the rear surface side of the movable scroll (7). An expansion section-side recess (58) is formed in the base surface (6b) of a stationary scroll (6) which is located in the expansion section, and the expansion section-side recess (58) is made to be in communication with the suction side.
