Abstract:
A seal structure 30 for a heat exchanger 1 having a seal plate 31 which is attached to a baffle plate 25 arranged in the interior of a shell 10 of the heat exchanger 1, and a portion of which makes contact with a wall surface 11 on the inner-surface side of the shell 10, wherein the seal plate 31 is configured by stacking a plurality of thin plates 32, the thin plates 32 make contact with the wall surface 11 while bending due to elastic deformation, a contact thin plate 35 which, among the thin plates 32, is the thin plate 32 that is positioned on the outermost side of the curve relative to the wall surface 11, makes contact with the wall surface 11, and an outer surface 36 of the contact thin plate 35, which is the surface among the surfaces of the contact thin plate 35 in the thickness direction that is on the outermost side of the curve, makes contact with the wall surface 11, thereby preventing a reduction in sealing performance.
