Abstract:
To provide a sealing material composition, which can efficiently utilize ultraviolet light in the UV-A range and is much superior to conventional products in both of the initial adhesiveness and adhesion durability in the adhesion strength to glass, and a sealing material sheet using the same for a solar cell module. A sealing material composition, which comprises a polyethylene-based resin with a density of 0.900 g/cm3 or less as a base resin, a crosslinking agent and a hindered amine-type light-resistant stabilizer and is free from any A-wave ultraviolet absorbing agent, wherein: the hindered amine-type light-resistant stabilizer is a copolymer of a cyclic aminovinyl compound having a specific structure with ethylene; and, relative to the total resin components, the content of the cyclic aminovinyl compound is from 0.02 mass% inclusive to 0.1 mass% exclusive and the content of the crosslinking agent is from 0.02 mass% inclusive to 0.1 mass% exclusive.
