Abstract:
The present invention addresses a problem of providing a seaming device capable of easily performing a washing operation of a chuck and/or a seaming roll, having high maintainability, and capable of efficiently keeping the chuck and/or the seaming roll clean. This seaming device is provided with a washing unit (500) for washing a chuck (321) of a chuck unit (320) and seaming rolls (451), (452) of a seaming unit (410). The washing unit has a washing member (510) having a cleaning brush (511) capable of moving forward and backward along a direction from an outer side to a seaming turret at a time when a washing mode is selected, and further has a washing control mechanism which performs a washing operation to cause the cleaning brush to move toward the seaming turret with a chuck provided to the chuck unit rotatable while stopping a revolution of the chuck unit caused by the seaming turret.
