Abstract:
A battery cell comprises: an electrode assembly comprising a cathode, an anode, and a separation membrane interposed between the cathode and the anode; and a battery case of a laminate sheet including a receiving part in which the electrode assembly is embedded, wherein the receiving part has a structure in which the laminate sheet is indented at a depth corresponding to the height of the electrode assembly, and at least one electrolyte storage part capable of additionally having an electrolyte embedded therein is formed, in a structure of communicating with the receiving part, on at least one side portion among side portions of the receiving part facing side surfaces of the electrode assembly.
