Abstract:
This secondary battery comprises: a battery element including a positive electrode and a negative electrode; flexible exterior members housing the battery element, each exterior member having a sealing section at one end and have no sealing section at any location other than the one end; a positive electrode wire connected to the positive electrode and led out to the outside of the exterior members via the sealing section; and a negative electrode wire connected to the negative electrode and led out to the outside of the exterior members via the sealing section. The exterior members are flat and columnar, and at the sealing section, the exterior members facing each other are joined to each other.
