Abstract:
Provided is a secondary battery separator in which a porous substrate and a porous film are firmly bonded and that has excellent low-temperature workability and electrolyte durability. The present invention is a secondary battery separator characterized by being formed of a porous substrate and a porous film formed on the porous substrate and characterized in that the porous film contains a fluorine-containing polymer having a polymerization unit based on vinylidene fluoride, a polymerization unit based on tetrafluoroethylene, and a polymerization unit based on a monomer (2-2) represented by general formula (2-2). R5R6C = CR7R8CO2Y1 (2-2) (In the formula, each of R5, R6, and R7 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having a carbon number of 1 to 8. R8 represents a hydrocarbon group having a carbon number of 1 to 8. Y1 represents an inorganic cation and/or an organic cation.)
