Title:
SEISMIC ISOLATION APPARATUS HAVING IMPROVED RESTORING FORCE BY USING BALLS AND SPRINGS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/171276
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a seismic isolation apparatus capable of improving restoring force generated by a spring since the bottom surface of a center groove formed at the upper end of a lower plate, at which a damping device having a ball member inserted into a recessed groove formed at the lower part thereof and having a plurality of springs connected to the side surface thereof so as to reduce the transmission of vibration is positioned, is obliquely formed. A seismic isolation apparatus having improved restoring force using balls and springs, according to the present invention, comprises: a lower plate having a center groove which is formed at the upper end thereof and of which the bottom surface is inclined toward the center portion thereof; a damping device having a fixing groove formed at the upper end thereof, having a support part provided at the upper end thereof and supported by one or more vertical springs, having semispherical recessed groove formed at the lower end thereof, and having a plurality of horizontal springs connected to the inner wall of the center groove and connected to the side surface thereof at predetermined intervals; a first ball member, which is inserted into the recessed groove so as to support the damping device while coming in contact with the bottom surface of the lower plate, rotates by means of friction force with the bottom surface, and maintains the position of the damping device; an upper plate having a fitting hole into which the support part is fitted and which penetrates the upper and lower ends thereof, and having a plurality of semispherical lower grooves formed at the lower end thereof; and a plurality of second ball members, which is inserted into each of the plurality of lower grooves so as to support the upper plate while coming in contact with the upper end surface of the lower plate, rotates by means of friction force with the upper end surface of the lower plate, and maintains the position of the upper plate.
