Title:
SEISMIC ISOLATION APPARATUS, RAISABLE AND LOWERABLE APPARATUS, AND SEISMIC ISOLATION UNIT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/079673
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It has been difficult to seismically isolate a structure, in which supportable locations are limited, in a direction in which loads are exerted. This seismic isolation apparatus is provided with: a vibration-side connecting part 19 connected to a structure 70 or the ground 71; a locking part 13 that is provided between the vibration-side connecting part 19 and a seismically isolated object connecting part 26 capable of moving relative to the vibration-side connecting part 19 in a direction of seismic isolation and connected to a seismically isolated object, which is an object to which vibration is not transmitted, the locking part 13 switching the seismically isolated object connecting part 26 between being fixed and being capable of moving; a space restoring part 14 that, in accordance with an amount of change in a space, generates force to cause the amount of change to approach zero; and a vibration damping part 15 that, in accordance with the speed of change in the space, generates force in a direction to hinder the change. The seismic isolation apparatus is also provided with a Z-axis seismic isolation unit 7 that seismically isolates in a vertical direction in which a load is exerted, an X-axis seismic isolation unit 8 that seismically isolates in an X-axis direction within a horizontal plane, and a Y-axis seismic isolation unit 9 that seismically isolates in a Y-axis direction different from the X-axis direction within the horizontal plane.
