Abstract:
The present invention relates to a selective droplet flow surface and a method for manufacturing same, the selective droplet flow surface having mushroom-shaped column structures formed thereon, wherein the head parts of the mushroom-shaped column structures, which come into contact with droplets, are formed in a reentrant structure, whereby the selective droplet flow surface has not only omniphobicity that both super-hydrophobicity and super-oleophobicity are exhibited, but also a selective droplet roll-off property that oil rolls faster than water on the surface. To this end, the present invention provides a selective droplet flow surface comprising: a base layer; multiple column parts formed to protrude from the base layer; and head parts, each of which is formed to protrude from the top surface of a corresponding column part and has a cross section that is larger in diameter than the cross section of the column part, wherein: each of the head parts comprises a first head part formed to protrude from a corresponding column part, and a second head part formed to protrude from the edge region of the first head part; and the base layer, the column parts, and the head parts are made of the same material.
