Abstract:
A self-propelled vacuum cleaner (100) comprises: a body part that moves on a floor and cleans up the floor; a communication unit (180) that acquires scattering information pertaining to the scattering of fine particles contained in the atmosphere (scattering information acquisition unit); and a control apparatus (150) that is in the body part and controls cleanup (control unit). The control apparatus (150) switches a cleanup mode between a first mode and a second mode on the basis of the scattering information acquired by the communication unit (180). Due to this configuration, it is possible to provide the self-propelled vacuum cleaner (100) which is capable of cleaning up fine particles more efficiently.
