Abstract:
Provided are: a semi-permeable membrane support wherein the difference in measured thickness of the semi-permeable membrane support under conditions of 0.80 N/cm2 and measured thickness under conditions of 1.27 N/cm2 falls within the range of 1.0% to 5.0%, having excellent adhesion between the semi-permeable membrane and the semi-permeable membrane support and excellent adhesion between the untreated water spacer and the semi-permeable membrane, and as a result, it is possible to maintain satisfactory water permeability after modularization; and a method for producing the semi-permeable membrane in which hot pressing is performed using an elastic roller having a type A durometer hardness of at least 60 and a type-D durometer hardness not exceeding 95.
